In the afternoon of March 11, 2011, a massive 9.0 magnitude earthquake hit Tohoku and the large areas of the east Japan.
The areas have received the devastation caused by the earthquake and resulting tsunami.
We pray that as many people as possible could survive from the disaster.
We are pleased to advise you that all members of Yamato headquarters and branches are safe and keep working without any problems. Our manufacturing site is located in the west part of Japan and we received no damages from the earthquake and tsunami. Therefore, we have no problems in production and shipment.
We will give top priority to our Japanese customers who are suffered from the disaster. However, there would be no serious affects to the overseas projects, so please do not worry about it.
